We have a gentle 8 year old mutt 64lbs who either barks at the wind or at the echos of his barks, as well as deer, bunnies, passerby. And we have an 8 month old hurricane adolescent (50lbs) who has taught our older dog to bark at birds, as well as everything else that moves. L0 (just the beep) works miracles on our older dog, and our younger hurricanes up does much better than normal on L2 (from 1-9 of shock). She occasionally blows right through it in a cacophony of fanaticism about a bunny, but still is much better when she’s wearing it. So we are back to buy a second one so they can each have one. The charge has been lasting fantastically long. Wish the collar itself came in different colors so it would be easier to ID each dog’s collar without needing to add our own sticker/check the settings.

My puppy is incredibly smart but having no negative consequences made him listen only when he felt like it. Or when the treat was worth the reward. Our puppy is still being rewarded but also corrected when he doesn’t listen. This tool has been easy to use and I would recommend it. Of course, train yourself before training your dog.

I have 5 or more of the mini educators for my Malinois. I was introduced to them by one of the top Schutzund and Police K-9 trainers in the country. They are beyond a doubt the best tool I have for my dogs. It enables me the freedom to let them run off leash at my farm (not fearing chasing deer) and using the finger ring I can discreetly correct my dog when in public if they act out. I've only had a couple problems, and that's to be expected, I use them hard, in the water many times, and daily. The customer service team is amazing. No questions asked they sent me a new unit, no runaround about date of purchase or the typical hassle. They even sent me a couple extra free accessories as a perk. This company is amazing. This is a great addition to the already great product. Provides for a better attachment than the lanyard, the can swing and get stuck or hit you while training. This is what may be one of the best items (The Boss) I have bought for our Staffie. It is a great training tool and long range control of your pet. No need for those long leads that are cumbersome and awkward while playing with you pet, specially in open fields, stream and lakes.

They dive into the pools at every single opportunity (literally submerge themselves and go diving), they play very rough and get filthy whenever possible. Every day I use this product I think "today is the day it stops working, surely it cannot survive that" yet it's still working 150%. The fact that the stimulus can go so low that I can only detect a 'tickle' at about 12 points tells that this is the real thing. It means you can select the exact strength for your dogs training while not causing any harm to your animal or your relationship with your pet. The battery life is incredible. I actually only need to charge it probably once a week if I used it every day (obviously depends on intensity of use), it's incredibly easy to use and the results have been outstanding. I mostly use it to train my dogs not to chase farm animals, however, it's been so effective that I've also incorporated it into our training routine as it can communicate more effectively than shouting across a field when doing distance training. I would recommend this product to anyone who asked. It's excellent quality and tough as nails.
